“Whispering Raindrops” is a musical journey that transcends geography and media, presented by Mello Duo. Curator and percussionist Miko Yau specially invited Taiwanese cellist Tzu-Yi (Tiffany) Yeh, currently based in the United States, to perform in Hong Kong. Inspired by the cultures of Hong Kong and Taiwan, the first half of the program features premiere performances of commissioned works by two renowned composers: Hong Kong composer Professor Chan Hing Yan and Taiwanese composer Professor Paul SanGregory.
The second half turns to a contemporary soundscape, integrating electronic music and theatrical elements to expand the possibilities of sound and performance.
Motion graphic designer Caroline Chu from New York University will further engage with the live music through a range of visual media, guiding the audience from sound into sight and immersing them in a richly layered contemporary artistic experience.
《潤物細無聲》——Mello Duo 呈現的一場跨越地域與媒介的音樂之旅。主辦人兼敲擊樂家邱巧琳特邀現居美國的台灣大提琴家葉子萓來港演出。上半場以香港與台灣文化為靈感，將呈獻多首作品，其中包括香港大學陳慶恩教授及國立高雄師範大學桑磊栢教授的委約作品首演。下半場則轉入當代語境，融合電子音樂與戲劇元素，開拓嶄新的聲音體驗。
另邀紐約大學影像藝術家朱佩恩，以多元視覺媒介與現場音樂互動，從聽覺延伸至視覺，帶領觀眾沉浸於層次豐富的現代藝術世界。
