This Wellbeing Pop-Up is part of the Recovery and Resilience Fund in Roskill, supporting our local community following the Auckland Anniversary Weekend flooding.
A free, relaxed drop-in space for anyone in Wesley and May Rd who could use support, a conversation, or simply a safe place to connect. Come for a coffee or tea, meet others, and take some time for your wellbeing. No appointment needed and no pressure, just come as you are.
What’s available:
- Supportive conversations with a qualified counsellor (or wellbeing team)
- Help from a community navigator with local services and practical support
- Easy-to-follow mindfulness techniques and tools for stress management
- Simple relaxation and grounding exercises
- Optional creative wellbeing activities (e.g. art-based support)
- Free coffee and tea
Who it’s for:
Anyone in Wesley, May Rd and nearby areas who:
- is still affected by flooding
- is feeling stressed, tired, or overwhelmed
- would like support, connection, or guidance
- would like to learn simple mindfulness and stress management tools
Where and when:
You can find us at The Roskill Box (142 May Road, Mt Roskill) on the third Thursday of every month from 10am to 12pm.
