Wellbeing Connections 2024

An opportunity for those with a passion for wellbeing, to come together and share experience, learn from each other, and celebrate the exceptional work that goes on across Plymouth. Whether business or community-focused, we’re interested in hearing from you and providing a space to share your insights and experience of health & wellbeing support & services.

During the day we will have a variety of stands for you to gain an insight into what Plymouth has to offer for services. We will also be arranging YMCA tours to see their refurbished venue and excellent facilities, wellbeing walks throughout the event, as well as a free liver scan check, free posture assessments and free know your measurements check. We will also offer refreshments and light bites to energise you to network.

The event is held on Wednesday 6th November at YMCA Plymouth, between 10.30 am and 2.30 pm. Tea, coffee and light bites will be available.

The sustainability of our upcoming event is one of our key goals. Before the event, all information will be shared digitally. The day will also include various digitally accessible resources that can be scanned and used. On the day of the event, we encourage all attendees and exhibitors to consider digital resources and where possible travel in an environmentally sustainable way. Throughout the day we will also have a section for refreshments, please bring along a reusable bottle or cup to help us support the sustainability of our event.

There are a variety of ways to get to the YMCA at Honicknowle Lane and we encourage you to be as sustainable as possible with your travel!

• For those travelling by public transport, you will be pleased to know that there is a bus stop right outside of the building which is on the 64-bus route. You can also get the 34 or 101 that stops on Outland Road where you have a short walk down to our event – you can find out more about this by using the Plymouth City Bus Journey app.
• Don’t fancy the bus? The YMCA also offer secure bike lockers so you can easily store your bike safely, so you can join us in the most green and healthy way possible! Haven’t got a bike? Why not try out the Beryl Bikes? Find out where they are in Plymouth here.
• If you’d rather drive, we fully encourage you to car share where possible. The YMCA have FREE parking at the centre, with ample parking spaces.
