WED 730PM RESTORATIVE YOGA AND YOGA NIDRA 5-WK COURSE

RESTORATIVE Yoga focuses on slowing down the mind and breath. Classes may begin with a few minutes of more gentle flow, include held and supported (with props) asana, and end with extended led relaxation and meditation.

Every class in this 5wk COURSE will end with led yoga nidra or 'yogic sleep', a powerful practice. Benefits of regular yoga nidra practice include better sleep and stress reduction.

About your teacher

Keith Kempis has been teaching yoga for almost 30 years after initially beginning yoga in his mid-teens as a way to deal with the struggles of adolescence. He is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher, creator and Director of BIJA (both the studio and the Teacher-Training Program), an ERYT Senior Level 6 Teacher with Yoga Alliance International as well as a high-school music teacher.

Keith has taught yoga teacher-trainings all over the world and regularly facilitates yoga retreats and pilgrimages in both India and Thailand.
