Wednesday 3 June
The main entrance to the museum, the entrance hall, and Masters bistro will be closed to public visitors. The West entrance on the dock side of the museum will be open, and staff will be on hand to direct you. The second-floor coffee shop will be open; serving drinks, sandwiches and snacks. The museum galleries will be open as usual.

Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 July
A major conference will take place at the museum on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 July. The museum will be open, however it will be busier than usual in the cafe, toilets and car park. The main entrance will be closed to museum visitors; please use the dockside entrance.

26 June - 1 November
Please visit our website for more information and to book your tickets. Your exhibition ticket includes entry to the museum so you don't need to book a separate ticket for general museum admission.

The national collection of arms and armour is brought to life everyday with live combat demonstrations and dramatic presentations.

Admission to the Royal Armouries Museum is free. Please pre-book your visit.

Crossbow Challenge is managed by our expert team, who will provide guidance and full instructions on operating the crossbow. As these are real crossbows, we kindly ask that children under the age of 16 are accompanied by an adult.

Please be aware that during peak times, there might be a wait of up to an hour. To avoid a queue and visit between 10am to 11:30am.
