About the Show

At the start of World War II, President Franklin Roosevelt issued Executive Order 9066, which forced thousands of Japanese American families to abandon their homes, farms, and businesses and placed them in American concentration camps across the West. Discover families who fought and won legal battles to return to agriculture and others who ended up having to choose other livelihoods.

Watch ViewFinder: Return to the Soil starting May 27 at 7PM on PBS KVIE and our free PBS app.

By reserving a ticket, you agree to receive email updates about events from PBS KVIE. You can opt out at any time.
