Inaugural Sacramento Student Innovation Showcase
About this Event
Join us to learn from and celebrate youth innovators and environmentalists from across the Sacramento at Mark Twain Elementary School, on Tuesday, May 19th from 4:30 to 6:30pm.
Student teams will present their Student Innovation Grant Projects in a science-fair-style format. Prepare to be wowed by elementary, middle, and high school students who have developed a deep understanding of complex sustainability challenges, ranging from water conservation and local food production to waste management strategies.
How do I get to Mark Twain Elementary?
Carpooling, biking, and public transportation are strongly encouraged!
Mark Twain Elementary is located at 4914 58th Street in Sacramento, at the corner of 58th Street and 22nd Avenue.
Parking
Parking near the school is limited, so we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early and carpooling when possible.
- Street parking on 58th Street is available along the east side across the school and is your best option for general attendees.
- Additional street parking is available on 22nd Avenue along the north side of the school.
- Drop-off is designated off 58th Street at the east entrance. If you are dropping off students or materials, use this entrance and plan to park on a nearby street.
Public Transit
Sacramento Regional Transit (SacRT) serves this area. The closest bus lines are the 51 61, 81, 212,. Plan your trip at sacrt.com or use the SacRT app.

¡Ven a conocer a la próxima generación de innovadores y ambientalistas en nuestra octavo Exposición Anual de Innovación Estudiantil en UTSA Downtown!
Únete para aprender y celebrar a los jóvenes innovadores y ambientalistas de toda la región de San Antonio en la escuela de Mark Twain Elementary el martes 19 de mayo de 4:30 a 6:30 p.m.
Los equipos de alumnos presentarán sus proyectos financiados por la beca “Student Innovation” bajo un formato con estilo de feria de ciencias. Prepárate para dejarte sorprender por los alumnos de primaria, secundaria y preparatoria, que han desarrollado un profundo conocimiento sobre la complejidad de los desafíos de la sostenibilidad, que van desde la conservación del agua y la producción local de alimentos, hasta las estrategias de gestión de residuos.
