About this Event
California faces escalating and interconnected climate and disaster risks from wildfires and extreme heat to flooding and public health emergencies. Women, particularly AAPI and Latina women, are often at the forefront of community response and recovery. Yet their leadership, lived experience, and the economic challenges they face remain underrepresented in disaster preparedness planning and policy design.
This in-person convening in Sacramento will bring together experts, women leaders, and small business owners to examine how disaster preparedness intersects with gender, race, and economic resilience. The event will center and elevate the leadership of AAPI and Latina women, showcase data-driven insights, and foster meaningful cross-sector partnerships to strengthen community resilience moving forward.
RSVP is required.
