South Carolinians of all knowledge and skill levels are invited to join Clemson Extension Horticulture Agent Samantha Brown for a beginner-friendly guide to starting and maintaining a successful vegetable garden in South Carolina. This program is designed for beginner home vegetable gardeners, Master Gardeners, and the general public, covering the basics—from selecting the right site to choosing the best vegetables for our region.

Clemson Extension is required by the USDA to offer program participants the opportunity to self-identify. By voluntarily providing us with your demographic information, we are able to more accurately document the impacts we are making to better the lives of the citizens of South Carolina.

Extension classes and events may be canceled at any time due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a paid program is canceled, full refunds will be issued. Similar programs are often offered again at a later date.
