Urban Art 2026
About this Event
London, UK – The streets of Brixton will once again come alive with colour, creativity, and community spirit as Urban Art 2026 returns for its 23rd year on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July, transforming Josephine Avenue into a vibrant, open-air art fair. With free entry from 10am to 6pm, the event promises an inspiring weekend for art lovers of all ages and budgets.
An Art Fair Like No Other
Featuring over 120 exhibitors, this much-loved event offers visitors the unique chance to buy artwork directly from the creators themselves. From painting and printmaking to photography and mixed media, Urban Art Brixton showcases a diverse range of styles and talents, from emerging artists to well-established names.
Artworks span the emotional spectrum: from stunningly beautiful pieces to thought-provoking statements that challenge convention. Each piece tells its own story, offering a visual journey through imagination, emotion, and experience.
A Feast for the Senses
Beyond the art, visitors can indulge in a tempting selection of food stalls offering flavours from around the world. It’s the perfect way to fuel a day of art exploration with delicious bites and refreshing drinks.
Supporting the Local Community
Urban Art Brixton is more than just an art fair—it’s a community event with heart. The fair provides affordable exhibition space for South London artists and supports local charities through donations. Participating artists will be contributing 10% of their sales to this year’s charity partners: Holy Trinity School, Jubilee Primary School, Southside Rehabilitation Project, and The Anchor Group. Charity partners will also be present throughout the weekend, volunteering as marshals and sharing information about their vital work at the Information Desk.
Join us on the second weekend in July to celebrate creativity, community, and the joy of art on the streets of Brixton.
