12 Serial Killers: London, British & International. Famous, less famous, and uncaught.Gripping story-telling, profiling, creepy locations.
About this Event

'Serial Killers: The Blood & Tears Walk' is a long-running,rave-reviewed Serial Killer London Walk researched, written and performed by Declan McHugh, the author of 'Bloody London' .

'Bloody London' has sold over 8,500 copies by June 2021 and you can obtain your signed copy at the end of the Tour for just £7.

'Serial Killers: The Blood & Tears Walk' currently has 473 Five-star reviews on TripAdvisor plus the TripAdvisor 'Certificate of Excellence', given only to 10% of companies.

The tour features top-notch story-telling and is thrilling, chilling and highly thought-provoking...you won't forget this easily....

It takes place three times a week on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights from 7-9pm, meeting outside BARBICAN underground station's only exit.

Because of the disturbing nature of the crimes committed ONLY people aged 12 or over can attend.

Most serial killer London Tours only discuss Jack the Ripper - but apart from him, Declan discusses ELEVEN other London, British & International serial killers. There are profiling exercises in increasingly creepy dark alleys.

'Serial Killers: The Blood & Tears Walk' featured in an episode of the very popular 'spooky England' TV programme 'Most Haunted'. Here's a clip:

By the Tour's end you will know so much more about serial killers, even if you knew lots to start with. But by the Tour's end you may also have a permanent sense of unease…

FAQSAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

You MUST be over 12 years old to attend this tour. Years ago I would occasionally allow 10 or 11 year old children to attend. I stopped this when some became disturbed and felt unwell.

This led to one of my favourite ever reviews:  "Fantastic tour, children were being sick!".

Now I turn away anyone younger than 12. And that means the parents of those children have to go away too.

I repeat, 'Serial Killers: The Blood & Tears Walk' is disturbing. It is NOT one of the slightly camped up horror events in London such as The L*n**n D**g**n.

It is about really twisted killers, real murders, real victims & it has proved very chilling and unsettling for many adults, let alone children!

In fact you may develop a bit of a crick in your neck after attending this tour, as you check if anyone is behind you!

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

We meet right outside the ONLY exit at Barbican underground station.

Barbican is just two stops past Kings Cross, on three different underground lines: the Circle, the Metropolitan, and the Hammersmith &City lines.

We end at a great pub 45 seconds away from Holborn underground station. Holborn is on the Central and Piccadilly lines.

What do I need to bring to the Tour?
Note that Masking and social distancing is still taking place until June, so bring your own mask.

Also bring your imagination and sense of humour.

Suitable footwear. We cover around two miles (approximately 3.2 kilometres).

Suitable clothing: If it's looking gloomy then bring waterproof clothing and/or an umbrella. In hot weather bring a bottle of water.

A polite request: please don't take photos while Declan is talking, because 1) it's distracting for both Declan & the other people on the tour , and 2) people taking photos aren't listening and miss vital bits of information.

Instead, after Declan stops talking about whatever it is and makes a move to walk to the next location, THEN simply say the magic word 'PHOTO' audibly - Declan will wait for the photo. That way you get your photo, plus the detailed story-telling isn't disrupted.

Video or audio recording the walk isn't allowed because the tour is a performance, and in the same way that you can't record a play or a film that you go to, the same thing applies here.

Do you give refunds if people don't turn up?

You can cancel up to 24 hours before your performance begins. After that I don't give refunds but email me at [email protected] and I will allow you to come another time, or you can nominate someone else to come instead of you.
