UpStage Musical Theatre Workshop | Coffs Harbour
Spend a full day immersed in the world of musical theatre with current professional performers from Australia’s leading productions.
Designed for young people aged 8–21, this high-energy school holiday workshop gives participants the opportunity to train in singing, acting, and dance while working collaboratively towards a final showcase performance for family and friends at the end of the day.
Participants are grouped by age and experience level and rotate through workshops led by three professional teaching artists currently working in the musical theatre industry. Throughout the day, students learn choreography, vocal harmonies, performance technique, and storytelling skills in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Whether your child is already passionate about performing arts or trying musical theatre for the very first time, the workshop is designed to build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and stagecraft while giving regional young performers access to elite-level industry training close to home.
The day also includes a Q&A session with the teaching artists, giving students the chance to ask questions about training, auditions, careers, and life in the performing arts industry.
The workshop concludes with a live informal performance presentation for parents and carers.
