Upcycled Sewing Workshop with Amanda Fairbanks
About this Event
Using a selection of second-hand materials, participants will learn how to transform fabric remnants into a funky handmade item or bag.
Amanda will guide you through simple sewing techniques and creative design ideas to help you craft a unique piece while giving new life to discarded textiles. Beginners are warmly welcome, and all skill levels can enjoy experimenting with colour, pattern and texture.
This workshop is part of a sustainable practices and creative reuse program that is inspired by Yarrila Arts and Museum's current exhibition RELICS: A New World Rises.
