What happens when comedy, music, and spontaneity collide? Join Unplanned Melodies for a playful, high-energy musical improvisation workshop where participants create songs, scenes, and stories completely on the spot.
Through a series of games and exercises, you'll learn how to build songs from audience suggestions, create memorable characters, develop musical confidence, and embrace the unexpected.
No singing experience is required; just a willingness to say "yes”, "and" take creative risks, whilst having fun. Whether you're a seasoned improviser, a curious comedian, or a lover of musical theatre, Unplanned Melodies' workshop offers a unique opportunity to discover the joy of making music in the moment.

Unplanned Melodies is Sydney's premier, entirely improvised, musical comedy troupe. Emerging from the Improv Theatre Sydney (ITS) community, their quick-witted performers and musicians weave soaring melodies, lyrics, and absurd plot lines on the spot, entirely guided by audience suggestions. They are a staple of the Australian comedy circuit, frequently appearing at events such as the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Big Fork Comedy Festival and Sydney Fringe Festival.
