On the morning of the 31st October 2026, BMWKD 26 - 9:30am to 1pm - we will be holding a Kangaroo Research conference. This is aimed at vets, rescuers & carers, Kangaroo Advocates and other interested persons. We are hoping to have...
1. Steve &/| Rosemary from Possumwood Wildlife continuing their great work of passing on their macropod research findings to general practice vets so those vets can improve their ability to treat rather than just euthanise our precious kangaroos.
2. Greg &/| Diane from Living with Kangaroos presenting their research findings on percentage of Kangaroos not shot in the head by the cruel and profit driven Kangaroo Killing Industry.
3. A FNP - to be later named - talking about care of country and kangaroos.
4. A legal person - to be later named - who will present the implications of Tracy's full exoneration (and other recent developments) on Animal Law.
5. An AJP person - to be later named - who will describe the recent kangaroo wins and areas that still needs work.
