Understanding Canine Body Language - FREE Talk
Dogs are communicating with us every second that they're with us, and as responsible dog guardians it's our responsibility to learn to understand them. This interactive talk will empower you to be able to read their subtle body language. We'll cover breed differences, how to respond for a more trusting relationship, and rescue shelter nuances. This is a vital talk for anyone volunteering with rescue dogs, regularly working with dogs, and anyone who lives with a dog.
Feedback from this talk last year was that is was invaluable, eye-opening, and more fun that expected!
Tea, coffee and snacks provided.
Please note that while the shelter is dog friendly, this isn't an event tailored for dogs to attend. It is a classroom-type presentation, and your dog may get very bored! So if they're happy to be left at home, that's probably the best option.
