About this Event
Bring your binoculars to Bedrock Gardens for a program with Scott Santino of the Mass Audubon's Joppa Flats Education Center. Learn about the various styles of bird migration as winter approaches, and see which birds you can spot on the walk. Mass Audubon's Scott Santino will point out fascinating facts about bird migration and answer your questions. A great class for nature lovers and birders, new and experienced alike. Children age 15 and up are welcome but the class will be geared toward adult learning.
About the Teacher
Mass Audubon is the largest nature-based conservation organization in New England. Founded in 1896 by two women who fought for the protection of birds, Mass Audubon carries on their legacy by focusing on the greatest challenges facing the environment today: the loss of biodiversity, inequitable access to nature, and climate change. Its Joppa Flats Education Center in Newburyport offers a wide variety of family-friendly educational programs.
Tickets
Tickets are $20 for members and $30 for the public. Your ticket includes a day pass to the gardens. Please cancel 48 hours in advance of the class start time, or tickets will not be reimbursed. Class is limited to 20.
