Slip out of the city and into a sanctuary of stillness.

We invite you to walk “in the park after dark” under the glowing gaze of April's Pink Moon. As twilight descends, we’ll step silently into the 124-year-old forest at Patch of Heaven Sanctuary—a space where presence, not performance, is what’s asked of you.

There will be no need for words. Just awareness.

This Twilight @Patch experience merges the science-backed benefits of forest bathing with the moon’s ancient rhythm, offering a full-body nervous system reset. Ordinarily I go to the woods alone,

with not a single friend,

for they are all smilers and talkers

and therefore unsuitable.

I don’t really want to be witnessed talking to the catbirds

or hugging the old black oak tree.

I have my ways of praying,

as you no doubt have yours.

Besides, when I am alone

I can become invisible.

I can sit on the top of a dune

as motionless as an uprise of weeds,

until the foxes run by unconcerned.

I can hear the almost unhearable sound of the roses singing.
