FRIDAY NIGHT KIRTAN
About this Event
Join us for an evening of kirtan, the ancient practice of call-and-response chanting that opens the heart and quiets the mind through sacred sound & mantras. Guided and communal, kirtan invites everyone to participate by singing, listening, dancing, or simply resting in the vibration. No musical or spiritual experience is required. N.ewcomers are always welcome
Following the chanting, we will share prasādam—a nourishing vegan/vegetarian meal prepared with care, intention, and offered in gratitude to the Divine before being served. In the bhakti tradition, sharing prasādam is a continuation of the spiritual practice, allowing the effects of kirtan to be integrated through conscious nourishment and connection.
Friday night kirtan is offers an approachable entry point to Sacred Vedic Arts for newcomers and a meaningful space for those familiar with devotional practices. Come as you are, and enjoy an atmosphere of sound, devotion and heartfelt nourishment.
