About this Event
Hello Hike Lovers!
Summer is just around the corner and it's the perfect time for one last adventure in beautiful weather. We’re excited to announce our upcoming hike: Margate to Ramsgate Hike.
This scenic linear route will take us from Margate Station to Ramsgate Station, along the stunning coastline. Along the way, we’ll pass by several iconic beaches where you can stop to relax and enjoy the view. Highlights include the famous Viking Bay, Stone Bay, and North Cliff. While the path is mostly paved, be prepared for some sandy stretches, and don’t forget to dip your feet in the sea when we reach the end!
The hike is expected to take around 4 to 5 hours, depending on the group's pace, excluding breaks. Although there will be shops, cafés, and pubs along the route, we recommend bringing your own snacks and sandwiches to avoid delays.
The hike will end at Ramsgate Station or Ramsgate Beach. Since we’ve booked flexible tickets, feel free to explore the town after the hike if you wish!
