Please note between April to August these trips take place in twilight/sunset. The most unique way to experience the Thames.
Night Bus
As the light start's to fade join us for an evening paddle right through the centre of London. Seeing all of London's landmarks brightly bathed in light, Albert Bridge, Houses of Parliament, St Paul's, Bank Side, The City Tower Bridge, Old Naval College to name a few.
This is an evening paddle starting at Battersea and finishing at Greenwich. The trip is a good 2.5 to 3 hours. and planned to coincide with the falling tide, making the trip suitable for all abilities. The cost per person is £69.
We use stable double kayaks with rudders, all kit provided and staffed by professional guides. The event is for adults only. London Kayak Company is a British Canoeing Approved Paddle Sports Provider and compliant with the Port of London Authority. If the date advertised is not suitable get back to us we may be able to do a bespoke booking.

What are my transport options and where do we start the trip?
You are best to use public transport to get to and from the event.
We will be on the beach next to St Mary Church Battersea on the south side of the river. Use the address St Marys Church, Battersea Church Rd, SW11 3LX. The launch site is 10 minutes walk from Battersea Bridge.

The trip will finish at Greenwich, close to The Cutty Sark Pub and Enderby House, and 12 minutes walk to the Centre of Greenwich or 15 Minutes Walk to the Jubilee Line at Greenwich North. Postcode of landing site SE10 OTH.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
Bring comfortable clothes to paddle in, dress for the weather including a pair of training shoes you don't mind getting muddy. We supply all equipment including good quality waterproofs. Also, bring a complete change of clothes.
