🌿 What We’ll See Along the Way:
Less than 45 minutes from London by train, we'll arrive at the Knole House Estate, a medieval deer park preserved by the National Trust. The park is one of England’s largest enclosed deer parks, where wide open lawns and ancient trees create a calm estate for the deer to roam.
As we cross the park, we’ll keep an eye out for:
- Free-roaming deer (often spotted, but never guaranteed)
- English woodland landscapes
- A variety of birdlife and native fauna
- Open parkland views and historic English estates
Leaving the park, the route continues through quieter woodland and countryside paths toward Ightham Mote, a 14th centruary medieval moated manor. We'll stop for refreshments in the cafe and peak into one of the largest National Trust gift shops, before heading towards One Tree Hill - a beautiful local viewpoint - and looping back to Knole Park (with the deer), snd then to Sevenoaks train station with a pub stop on the way.
