TOWER HAMLETS FAMILY MEET-UP AND SUPPORT GROUP FOR BUMPS, BABIES AND TODDLERS
Join us with your bumps, babies, toddlers and partners and enjoy a friendly boost of positivity to help you along your journey through pregnancy into parenthood with support and friendships.
We'll talk all things bump, birth and beyond! It's a chilled and lovely atmosphere to take a breather, get peer support, meet other lovely parents and chat over a nice cuppa.
It takes a village to raise a child, welcome to yours!
This meet-up is for new and expectant parents, those with babies and toddlers. Please kindly note that we're not a playgroup or a baby class, please bring toys for your little ones if needed.
We’re a team of mums with a wide range of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood knowledge, skills and expertise. We can support you antenatally and postnatally in areas including; positive birth, birth place options, hypnobirthing, home birth, birth rights, placenta encapsulation, breastfeeding, and babywearing – to name but a few – and we have a wonderful network of perinatal and early years experts on hand to help support you on your parenthood journey!
Mel will be here to tell you all about babywearing and Helen will be here to support you with all things antenatal, birth and beyond (unless she gets called to a birth on the day). We are hoping that other perinatal/early years professionals will also join us! Who comes vary from meet to meet.
Perinatal and early years professionals are welcome to attend to provide free support to parents. This must be agreed prior to attending the meet-up by emailing either Mel at [email protected] or Helen at [email protected].
For safeguarding reasons, if you are coming without a child or are not pregnant; we will kindly ask the purpose of your attendance upon arrival.
When booking, only book tickets for the adults attending, not the babies. Booking is encouraged. Follow the link to book your free ticket.
Booking is free, though we welcome a donation on the day for use of the room. Donations will be collected by the organisers on the day (card payments only) or you can make a donation via the Poplar Union website to save us time.
JULY, SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER MEET-UPS ARE SPONSORED BY EASY PEASY SO NO NEED FOR DONATIONS!
The meet runs from 10.30am to 1pm. There is plenty of space to accommodate buggies and people! Entrance is via reception to check in.
Partners and grandparents are very welcome!
You don't need to live in Tower Hamlets to attend, all welcome.
You can get drinks and food from the awesome E5 Poplar Bakehouse cafe in Poplar Union (please bring a reusable cup).
There are toilets and baby changing facilities in the building.
