Bell House Open Garden

Set behind the Georgian manor house, visitors can explore the peaceful two-acre garden. The Walled Garden comprises of raised beds filled with kitchen essentials grown organically. The House Garden features a rose garden and woodland walk designed to attract wildlife and provide safe habitats.

The gardens are a place of community learning, maintained by volunteers who promote gardening as an activity for physical and mental well-being.

Arrive anytime between 11.30am and 1.15pm. The garden closes at 1.30pm.

Tea and coffee will be available

We encourage a £5 donation that will go towards garden maintenance and activities. Free tickets are also available.

We would ask you to read the following guidelines for your visit.

• If you or any of your group have any symptoms of COVID-19, or have been diagnosed with the virus, you must not attend the event;

• We have reduced participant numbers to enable social distancing.

• We encourage you to wear a face mask (unless you are exempt) when moving around the house;

• We would ask you to take a lateral flow on the day of the event you are attending;

• We aim to increase ventilation in the rooms, so some outside doors may will be open on arrival; we suggest you wrap up warm as the house is likely to be cooler than usual;

• Hand sanitiser will be positioned at various points in the house;

• We will have a list of people who have booked so you do not need to print off your ticket;

• We will hold your contact details which you provide via Eventbrite and we may pass them onto to NHS Test and Trace if required, in accordance with government advice.

• You will of course receive a warm welcome from our volunteers, and we look forward to seeing you at your event.
