Tooth and Nail String Band at White Lilac

Tooth & Nail String Band brings together the grit of old-time mountain music and the adventurous spirit of progressive bluegrass, creating something that feels deeply rooted without ever sounding stuck in the past.

The duo features Tianna Riverbirch on clawhammer five-string banjo and Landon Kotarek of progressive bluegrass band Nectar Valley on mandolin. Add male-and-female lead vocals, tight harmonies, fluid improvisation and original songwriting, and you get a sound that can move from haunting and intimate to downright foot-stomping.

Tooth & Nail have been selected for notable appearances including Kentucky Kingdom’s Bluegrass & Booms celebration and the Music in the Trees performer lineup, as their reputation continues to travel well beyond their Kentucky home.
