Before Peter Jackson helmed titanic tales of Tolkien travels and brigadiered bountiful Beatles documentaries, he was an oddball New Zealand filmmaker cranking out goofy and gooey horror-comedies that made him a cult icon. Perhaps most notorious in his pre-Hollywood heyday was MEET THE FEEBLES, an R-rated look behind the scenes at the sleazier side of showbiz, with an all-puppet cast. It’s a dingy, dirty, delirious take on THE MUPPET SHOW, full of sex, drugs, and rock n’ roll, and a hippo with a machine gun.
A film that needs to be seen to be believed, and once seen, wil never be forgotten.
Gates open at 6pm, showtime at sundown.
Tickets are $8.00 General Admission, $5 for children 12 and under and Mahoning Drive-In Patreon members.
