Bring your friends and join us at The Central Congregational Church (14 Titcomb St.) in Newburyport, MA on January 14th, 2026 at 5:00 PM and knit your own thick cozy blanket or scarf!! No needles or experience necessary!Your ticket includes:
-a selection of yarn colors to choose from!
-5 Skeins*of large chunky yarn for blackets and 1-2 skein for scarfs (you can sill do a bi-color scarf but you will not need an entire 2 skeins for a scarf)
-an experienced instructor to guide you!
Workshop starts at 5:00 pm and lasts about 2.5 hour.
Socialize with your friends or new ones as you hand-knit your very own thick cozy blanket! Bring a friend or two, or make new friends!
Please Note:
*If you want a larger blanket, you can add a skein of yarn for $12
**Finished blankets measture approximately 40''x 60'' depending on how knit your stich is. Finished scarfs are approximately 5-6''x 60'' (you can choose your width and length but because it is chunky yarn, you don't want to make it too wide).
***Feel free to bring a charcuterie board or other delicious food to enjoy while you are working on your beautiful blanket or scarf.
****(Please note that pictures are samples, you will choose your colors and knit your own cozy blanket.
****Parking: Parking is available in the city parking garage on Titcomb street. Most street parking around the building is limited to 2 hours. Please do not park in the YMCA parking lot next to the church.
