Join us on Friday Jan. 16th at 5:00PM at the Central Congregational Church in Newburyport, MA and learn how to make your own resin board or tray! Choose from pressed flower or ocean style.
If we have a large group, there will be two start times-5:00 PM and 6:30PM. The workshop lasts about 1.5 hours. You will learn how to prepare your board/tray, paint, set your flowers, mix and pour resin to make beautiful designs. Please bring a pizza box or another flat box to transport your board/tray in.
Your ticket includes:
A cutting board or tray
all of the tools and materials to make your project a success including resin and your choice of paint colors and flowers (choice of red, blue, white, black, purple, pink, yellow, or green flowers)!
an experienced instructor to guide you!
Bring your friends and come create a beautiful cutting board or tray!
*Resin takes several days to cure. If you are able to leave your project overnight, it is easier to transport the second day. Though the resin will still not be able to be touched until at least 48 hours. The board can be used after 4 days.
**If you can't leave your project overnight, bring a box to transport it in.
Please Note:
**(Please note that pictures are samples, we will guide you, but you will choose your paint, mica powder colors and/or pressed flowers and pour the resin yourself to create your own unique design.
***Parking: Parking is available in the city parking garage on Titcomb street. Most street parking around the building is limited to 2 hours. Please do not park in the YMCA parking lot next to the church.
