The Walkaways are Portland’s Phish Covers Cover Band. Yes, you read that right - they don’t play Phish songs, they only play the songs Phish has covered, which happens to be a list of 700+ of the greatest songs in rock history. Like Phish, every show is unique - from covering the Beastie Boys’ The In Sound from Way Out on Halloween, to staging The Phish Haters’ Ball at the OSU Phish Studies Conference, to traveling through spacetime with their Gamehendge Time Labs GTL-2001 Time Displacement Unit.
Whether you’re a Phish nerd, or don’t know them at all, you’re going to love getting down at a Walkaways show. The band recently made it’s Nor Cal debut, rocking the High Sierra Music Festival.
