About this Event
Bluebell Woods is a small but stunning area of ancient and semi-natural woodland tucked away in a little-visited corner of Plymouth, although you will have probably passed it regularly!
Squeezed in between Outland Road (near Morrisons) and Treveneague Playing Field, this woodland has stood untouched for hundreds of years.
Join Plymouth Tree People Trustees Dave Curno and Matt Underwood and members of the Rebel Botanists to explore the veteran trees and the sorts of plants you can only find in ancient woodland, which makes it such a precious habitat.
Meet us at the end of the old Outland Road, which is a dead end, at midday on Saturday, 16th May.
This walk will involve steep, unpaved paths.
You can park in Morrisons' car park and use the pedestrian crossing. Once you are over Outland Road, you will see old Outland Road, which goes to the right. At the end is a dead end, meet us there!
