A free talk for the Oxford Civic Society by Neale Coleman (8pm); preceded by the Society's AGM (7:30pm)
About this Event

The talk and the AGM will be held in the spectacular Sultan Nazrin Shah Centre at Worcester College.

Neale Coleman is a leading regeneration expert who chairs the Oxford Growth Commission. This body, established in May 2025, is made up of representatives from government, Oxford City Council, Oxfordshire County Council, our two universities, as well as a representative from the local business community group, Advanced Oxford. Neale will describe how Oxford's amazing resources in the form of its world-leading universities, the talents of its people and its innovative businesses provide a springboard which he says can be used “to accelerate and unblock barriers to sustainable growth delivering new job opportunities and more affordable housing, as well as investment in sustainable travel and energy and nature recovery".

This follows the OCS AGM at 7:30pm - all are welcome. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available from 7pm.
