You'll find a warm welcome, peer support and a community of other indies in the sector.

For the April meet up, we are heading to the lovely Waste2Taste cafe, where Sandra will be looking after us with delicious cakes and hot drinks.

About Indie Oxford

Independent Oxford was created in 2015, as we believe in the positive social impact of local businesses, and wanted to create a community for indies to find support and empowerment. We felt a real need for peer support and community, so thought others would too!

What started as a monthly meet up for indies, has now grown organically into a community of over 180 businesses, who support each other, champion the value of buying local and the positive social impact indies can make. We are really driven to encourage more people away from the chains and to invest in their local economy and community, and do this through the reach of the website and IO social channels and newsletter, highlighting Oxfordshire indies and why local is better for us all.
