🌱The Future of Sustainability (& Networking)

Sustainable Benefits Without Cost 🌱
A chance to meet and network with founders, investors and corporates.
Hadley Barrett (Quantum2.org) introduces a new future where sustainable improvement is inherent in the products we create and buy – revolutionising the nature of business and society.
Sustainability is no longer a goal to aim for, it becomes the essence of how we live.
We raise and answer the most critical questions around sustainability, finance and the future, leading to an ambitious new vision. This is an interactive presentation where people can get involved, make comments, introduce their own suggestions and ask questions, rather than a monologue. It raises some controversial points and we challenge the fundamental ways of thinking about our society, environment and economy.
🔎 The presentation covers:
✅ Global and local problems and why the issue of sustainability is important
✅ Sustainability in a broader context - environmental, social, economic
💷 If something is not financially viable, is it sustainable?✅ Sustainable initiatives businesses undertake today
🏢 Internal vs. External sustainability
✅ Government policy – can it ever succeed?
⚖️ Example: Net Zero vs. higher energy costs
✅ What is causing the problem that requires us to undertake sustainability initiatives?
👥 People, policy or the economic/social systems and structures we have created?
✅ Should we continue in this way?
🚦 Status quo or bust
✅ A new way forwards
🌐 Holistic products - benefit society, environment and your wallet, without compromising one for the other.
✅ How can products be both profitable and still drive sustainability?
💡 Profit and Purpose in harmony
📊 Case study, examples in practice
✅ The Future
🔮 How the evolution of new business driven holistic products could lead to a revolutionary change in social and economic structures, thereby creating a better future where sustainability is embedded in everything we do.
♻️ Moving from a situation where businesses, people, products and services consume resources and harm the environment to one where, due to the inherently sustainable nature of these new products, they generate profit and environmental and social improvement without compromising one for the other
