Llandegla is steeped in history and prehistory . There is evidence as far back as at least the Bronze Age. The village was important for Drovers travelling as they did for hundreds of miles. Local history mentions a lot of pubs for a small village! The beautiful St. Teglas holy Well is central to this history.Gillian will tell you more about the history of this place on the day, and Andy Harrop will tell us about the Well and its rituals, then take us on a tour with storytelling of the ghosts and imps, and the healers associated with this place along the way!
As a place of the healers, as we come to that liminal time of the cross quarter day, you will be invited to meditate and connect with our ancestors that are part of the lineages of healers, to learn from their wisdom and to co-create a gift to honour the wisdom of all our ancestors, the shoulders of which we stand on. Guided by Katherine, co-created with all who wish to participate.
