The Machine Learning Symposium on Justice in Healthcare, Education, and Public Policy at Brown University, September 24–26, 2026.
We’re bringing together world-class leaders to tackle the critical intersection of AI and Machine Learning, social good and justice, healthcare, education, and public policy! We particularly focus on the development and deployment of ML tools that promote a society where individuals receive what they need to overcome barriers to their participation as active and free members of society.

While not traditionally embedded in ML design, justice is essential for developing algorithms and tools that are both truly accurate and equitable. The goal of this conference is to highlight the importance of justice in ML design and implementation.
