Woonasquatucket River Guided Paddle Trip
About this Event
Join us to explore a beautiful stretch of Providence's hidden wilderness from the water. We will meet at 4:30 PM at the newly completed boat launch on Kinsley Avenue and travel through this wildlife corridor to explore the river in the historic Valley District. Get to know the river that has shaped this city and all the history it holds. Pre-registration is required. We will get our boats and gear prepped, and launch boats by 5:00 PM for an out-and-back paddle into downtown Providence.
It will be a 90-minute paddle, and we travel at a leisurely speed to accomodate multiple levels. All riders should be comfortable paddling for 90-minutes in a kayak or canoe. If you need assistance, sign up for a canoe spot so you can ride with one of our trained guides.
Participants have the option to bring their own boat or rent one of our kayaks or canoes. We provide life vests.
