About the Teacher

Gen Kelsang Dorje is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Madison, USA. He has been studying and practising Buddhism for over 20 years under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, an internationally renowned Buddhist Master, and Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition - International Kadampa Buddhist Union (NKT-IKBU).

Gen Kelsang Dorje is admired for his warmth and humour in making Buddha’s teachings relevant to the modern world. He is an inspiring example of how to integrate Buddha’s teachings into a joyful life.
