This three-day event celebrates all cross-sections of the horror genre, featuring poltergeists, zombies, and classic monsters, all on our big screen!

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: We close out TerrorThon 4 with a 35mm screening of THE GATE — a film often hailed as Canada’s answer to Poltergeist. When a 12-year-old boy, his older sister, and his metalhead best friend are left home alone, they discover that a portal to Hell has opened in their backyard, unleashing a swarm of demonic creatures. Over the years, it has earned a devoted cult following as a quintessential “gateway horror” movie for kids of the ’80s and ’90s. Packed with an eerie atmosphere and unforgettable practical effects, THE GATE remains a wildly entertaining supernatural chiller.
