Submitted for the approval of the Jenkintown horror community, we ask you to leave the comfort of the light and step into the world of the supernatural with us at our fourth-annual TerrorThon from September 25th to 27th. This three-day event celebrates all cross-sections of the horror genre, featuring poltergeists, zombies, and classic monsters, all on our big screen!
The festivities continue on Saturday with an essential Universal Monster film from 1935, THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN!𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝘁 hiwaytheater.org/terror
𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗲: Widely regarded as one of the greatest horror sequels ever made and a defining entry in the Universal Monsters legacy, THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN expands the original’s terror with equal parts gothic chills and dark wit. Dr. Frankenstein is goaded by an even madder scientist to build a mate for his creation. Boris Karloff once again brings terror and pathos to the Monster and is paired with a dazzling Elsa Lanchester and her over-the-top iconic hairdo.
