Teesside DClinPsy: Vis-ability - Shining the Light on Disability

Building on the success of last year's EDI Conference, Love is Love; which focused on social change, activism and mental health in the LGBTQIA+ community; this year we are shining the light on visible and invisible disability. Throughout the day you will experience presentations from our key note speakers, individuals who are living with a disability, carers for individuals with a disability and clinical psychologists working in practice and live with a disability.

There will be opportunity to experience what it is like to live with a disability, and reflect on the impact it can have on mental health. There will be time to network, meet local charitable organisations, meet a therapy dog in practice, and ask questions to those who experience what it is like to live or care for someone with a disability.

Lunch will be provided - you will be asked about dietary preferences when you book a place.

Arrive at 9am for registration, with 9.30am start. The event will close at 4.30pm.
