Te Kanapu: the grid blueprint for Aotearoa in 2050
About this Event
What should Aotearoa's electricity grid look like in 2050?
Wellington YEPs, help us tackle key questions to allow New Zealand to prepare for the electricity system of the future.
After a fantastic turnout last year, Transpower and YEPN are teaming up again to invite you to another evening of big ideas and good company on Thursday 30 July.
You'll throw your ideas into the mix, meet people from across the sector, and feed into Te Kanapu, Transpower's programme developing a blueprint for a reliable, resilient and affordable grid for the coming decades.
As the next generation of the energy workforce, we've got a real stake in these decisions. This is our chance to get involved.
We'll kick off with an update from Future Grid leaders John Clarke (Executive GM), Tania Lund (Programme Director) and Andrew Sykes (Technical Director), before moving into a fun and interactive workshop.
We're keen for voices from every corner of the industry, whether you’re an economist, engineer, policy pro, regulator or out in the field.
Came along last year? We'd love to see you back for round two. New faces just as welcome.
As always, the evening will finish with drinks and nibbles so we can keep the convo going.
