Join us on Saturday 18th July in the Museum at 2pm, with Sharon Bennett Connolly for Lincolnshire's Tudor Heroines. Featuring the stories of Katherine Willoughby, Bessie Blount, Anne Askew and Katherine Parr, 'Lincolnshire's Tudor Heroines' highlights the changes in society, religion and the royal court in the 16th century.

Speaker bio - Sharon Bennett Connolly is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and best-selling author of several historical non-fiction books, including Heroines of the Tudor World. As well as writing the popular history blog, historytheinterestingbits.com, Sharon co-hosts the podcast A Slice of Medieval, alongside historical novelist Derek Birks. Sharon regularly gives talks on women's history, for historical groups, festivals and in schools and her radio and TV work includes the BBC and Australian Television's Who Do You Think You Are?
