About this Event
As a Manager/People Leader, equip yourself with the confidence and skills to support mental health and wellbeing at work.
This interactive workshop is designed to help participants recognise signs of stress and anxiety, lead meaningful conversations, and use effective listening techniques to support employees.
With practical tools, real-world scenarios, and a focus on action, participants will also learn how to signpost relevant supports, as well as maintain their own resilience—leaving the session more confident, capable, and ready to make a positive impact.
Objectives:
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Recognise common symptoms of stress and anxiety, and their impact, in the workplace
- Recognise & demonstrate how to structure a meaningful conversation with employees
- Explain the value of effective listening and demonstrate active listening skills
- Signpost practical supports for employees
- Identify self-care tools and recognise how to use them to support their wellbeing and resilience
Methodology:
Delivered in a supportive and engaging learning environment, this workshop uses a highly participative approach that blends expert knowledge with practical skill-building.
Through discussion, guided exercises, and opportunities to practise, participants can immediately apply what they’ve learned — building confidence in a safe, constructive space.
