Surrender is a tantra-inspired dance experience in New York City exploring polarity, emotional truth, and movement. No performance, no comparison, no judges. This is not about looking good, getting choreography right, or becoming someone else’s follow. You will strip away conditioning and meet yourself — and others — honestly through the body.
Through polarity-based connection practices, breath, music, and reading energy, we explore the tension structure and surrender, intensity and softness. Learn to read and feel masculine and feminine energies, and how to keep the energy in the dance. You’re invited to move from instinct instead of image, sensation instead of strategy, truth instead of performance.
Dani Maya creates and holds a space where raw emotion is welcome: desire, grief, joy, contradiction, play, confusion, vulnerability and power.
Special Guests!! Jessica Lamdon - the “unicorn” Zouk and Lambada dancer and choreographer.
Eric Negron - House and Hiphop dancer choreographer. No mirrors. No pressure to impress. Just real bodies, real energy, and permission to feel what’s actually alive in the moment.
No dance experience needed — only curiosity, presence, and a willingness to let the mask drop.
