“Sharing the lettering love” since 1990...

ABOUT YOUR TEACHER:

Liz Roessler is a self-taught, professional calligrapher with over 30 years client experience. She has been obsessed with writing the letters of the alphabet ever since she could hold a crayon in her hand and immersed herself in learning the fine art of pointed pen calligraphy as a young adult. In her early 20’s, she began doing a wide variety of project work for events, menus, chalkboard signs, invitation design, certificates and custom lettering art commissions for clients.

Over the past 15 years, she has enjoyed “sharing the lettering love” by teaching 100’s of in-person and virtual classes to individuals, dozens of cool companies for their employees, to social groups, at museums (including the MFA and ICA), in classrooms (including Boston and Brookline Public Schools), art associations (including The Nantucket Historical Association and The Handicraft Club of Providence) and at colleges (including BU and Northeastern).

Liz has taught in-person & virtual classes for dozens of companies & organizations including Microsoft, Pfizer, Zappos, HubSpot, Google, Motorola, DraftKings, EF Education, Wayfair, Toast Tab, Arnold Worldwide, Mullen Lowe, LovePop Cards, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston Children’s Hospital, The ‘Quin House, The Harvard Club, Boston Harbor Now, and The USO.

She has appeared many times on-location for “live” calligraphy and hand-engraving glass bottles for clients including Saks Fifth Avenue, Delta Airlines, Sephora, Victoria’s Secret, J. Crew, Cartier, Bloomingdale’s, The Boston Celtics, Lululemon, Diptyque, Crayola, Neiman Marcus, Eataly, Montblanc, Lafroaig, Shinola of Detroit, Fenway Sports Management, Jack Daniels, W Hotels, KILIAN Paris, Nordstrom, The Boston Design Center, Maker’s Mark, Tourism Ireland, Macy’s, Sugarfina, Narragansett Brewery, L’Oreal, Kimpton Hotels, Basil Hayden, The Boston Public Market, Moncler, Woodford Reserve, LovePop Cards, Boston Center for The Arts, Jenni Kayne, Ocean Prime, Coty Fragrances, Monica Vinader Jewelry, The Boston Harbor Distillery, Blick Art Materials, Parfums de Marly, The Colony Club of NYC, Four Seasons Hotels, and The Pan Mass Challenge.
