Sunset Sound Bath | Lammas

Traditionally, Lammas begins at sunset on the eve of August 1st, marking the first harvest and a gentle shift as the height of summer begins to soften — a time associated with gathering, gratitude and recognising what has come to fruition. You might notice echoes of Lammas in traditional harvest celebrations — bread, grains and coming together — all reflecting the same sense of appreciation and abundance found in the older festival of Lammas.

These days, we tend to move through life by the calendar - work, appointments, errands etc. Moments like this invite us to slow down and reconnect with a more natural rhythm, even if only for a short time.

Through sound, we create space for the body and mind to slow down — allowing you to fully rest, reset and tune into what feels present for you.

As the sun begins to set, this becomes a natural moment to pause, reflect, and perhaps acknowledge what has grown in your life, or gently consider what you may be ready to let go of as the seasons begin to turn.

The evening will include:
• A one hour sound bath using a variety of soothing instruments including a gong, tubes and chimes.
• Time to rest deeply, switch off from the pressures of every day life and just ‘be’
• An opportunity for reflection and intention setting
• Light refreshments
• Time to sit, chat and watch the sunset (weather permitting)

Please bring:
• A yoga mat or something comfortable to lie/sit on
• Blankets and warm clothing (PJs are absolutely welcome!)
• Anything else you need to feel cosy and relaxed

This event will take place outdoors in the paddock, weather permitting.
If needed, we will move indoors.
