About this Event

This is a free activity for anyone who wants to learn or is interested in taking up lacemaking as a hobby.

We also want to hear from anyone who makes or used to make lace locally. Any type - bobbin, crochet, tatting or needle lace. Come and share your creations, skills and stories.

An introductory demonstration of bobbin lace technique will be given and participants will have the opportunity to see different textile samples.

This project runs in conjunction with our flax growing programme SOW TO SEW.
