Summer Lakeside Cemetery Walking Tour

In this tour, learn about the history of cemeteries in Port Huron! Hear the stories of moving thousands from older cemeteries across town to their new final resting place in the 1880s. Be fascinated by 19th century burial and mourning practices while visiting the final resting place of some of Port Huron's most familiar names. From famous criminals to businessmen and luminaries, there are many who now call Lakeside home. Tour will start near the chapel, directly north of Stone Street. You can take the entrance off of Holland.
Tour will be in the elements, so dress accordingly.
