The Ghost of FrankenFest

As FrankenFest comes to a close and darkness creeps over Michigan’s oldest lighthouse, a select few are invited explore the historic Fort Gratiot structures including the newly renovated 1829 hospital building for an extraordinary experience… The Ghost of FrankenFest.

The otherworldly evening begins with stories of ghosts and strange happenings over the centuries at this site presented by Haunted Mitten Podcast. Then the professional guides from Southern Michigan Paranormals lead an investigation through the dark corners of the buildings. Ghost hunting equipment will be demonstrated by the team, and you’re welcome to use your own during the search for apparitions (flashlight, camera, etc).

There are three tours with start times at 6:30, 8:00, and 9:30pm which last approximately 2 hours each. Tickets are $35/person and space is limited. Please note that some areas are not ADA accessible, and this event is not for young children or the faint of heart.
