A mindful walk though the beautiful grounds, connecting with nature and carrying out some gentle nature based activities along the way
About this Event

Walk leisurely through our gardens and grounds while tapping into nature and focusing on the senses.

Forest Bathing is about slowing down and noticing the things in nature we so often take for granted. Just spending a few hours in nature can help you to relax and tap into nature by focusing on the senses in a mindful way.
Just 2 hours of Forest Bathing can have a powerful impact. The effects can stay with you for up to a week. Just slowing down, reconnecting with nature and ourselves helps to open up the senses so we really notice what’s around us. This is done through mindful walking and a few gentle nature-based activities that focus on the senses and enhance well-being.
We will start our walk in the woodland areas near the hall where we will carry out a few short practical exercises that focus on birdsong and what we can see around us.
We will proceed by walking across pastures and grazing land and do some sensory activities connected with smell and touch.
Finally, we will slowly walk a stretch of the lake focusing on the power of water and return to Kiplin Hall.
